BIOGRAPHYbm

Bonnie Maras is one of the most enthusiastic trainers you will ever experience. Her passionand positive attitude are energizing. Bonnie has been educating children in alternative learning settings for the past ten years.

Bonnie is a Lecturer at Towson University in the Department of Educational Technology and Literacy and a certified trainer for The Upside Down Organization. She has also worked as a teacher for children in grade levels pre-K through ten and with educators to help integrate educational software and traditional teaching strategies in the classroom. Her background includes research in curriculum development, distance learning, and learning styles.

Bonnie obtained her BA in Sociology/Anthropology and her MS in Instructional Technology from Towson University in Maryland. She also holds a 90-Hour Certification in Early Childhood Development.

Bonnie resides in Maryland with her two teenagers. In her spare time, she teaches SPIN/Cycle classes at a local athletic club. She is also passionate about her own personal fitness and enjoys regular exercise routines that include swimming, biking and running. Bonnie is an avid reader and enjoys researching and studying topics that interest her.
