Shelly Eidsness has a deep knowledge of child and youth development honed over two decades of work with individual students, communities and child-serving systems.

Shelly has spent the last 11 years as a professional development specialist in Alaska, offering a wide variety of seminars including youth leadership, youth empowerment, diversity, ethics and community organization in support of positive youth development. Shelly previously worked for the Association of Alaska School Boards as a Community Engagement Educator and Child & Youth Advocate and recently relocated to the Midwest.

Shelly graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Education, Biology, and Youth Development. In her free time she plays hockey, ice climbs, practices yoga and dabbles in arts and crafts.

Shelly's energy and passion is contagious and her fascination and comprehension of brain-based learning is evident in every presentation.
